American Lighting Expands Spektrum+ Smart Lighting Platform With Twilight Trim Permanent Under-Eave Lighting

American Lighting, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-quality lighting innovations for residential, commercial, and specialty projects, announces the launch of Spektrum+ Twilight Trim, a permanent under-eave architectural lighting system designed to deliver year-round exterior illumination with smart RGBW control and a clean, HOA-friendly aesthetic.

Engineered for residential and light commercial environments, Spektrum+ Twilight Trim combines premium hardware, true RGBW lighting (RGB+ high-quality white light), and flexible control options to support a wide range of applications – from everyday architectural white light to vibrant, customizable color displays for holidays, events, and security lighting. Discreet by day and impactful at night, the system remains virtually invisible when off, preserving the architectural integrity of the structure.

Unlike many permanent outdoor lighting solutions on the market, Spektrum+ Twilight Trim is designed as a builder- and trade-first system, distributed through professional channels rather than DIY retail or closed-loop installer models. This open, spec-grade approach gives electricians, contractors, AV integrators, landscapers, and builders the flexibility to incorporate Twilight Trim as part of a broader whole-home lighting package, while allowing homeowners to eliminate seasonal light installation.

Spektrum+ Twilight Trim features true RGBW LEDs with dedicated 3000K white, delivering saturated color along with high-quality white light suitable for architectural and accent applications. Each module produces 14 lumens per dot at just 0.5 watts, with smooth dimming from 0–100 percent via the Spektrum+ Smart Lighting App. Users can select from designer presets or create fully customized lighting scenes directly within the app, enabling precise and personalized lighting effects.

The system supports scalable installations with pre-set, interconnectable module lengths ranging from 1 to 100 dots, with a maximum run of up to 165 dots from a single power supply. Purpose-built accessories – including power injection cables, jumper leads, and T-connectors – enable flexible layouts, while optional auxiliary power supplies support extended runs when needed.

Installation is streamlined with a low-profile, anodized aluminum channel system designed specifically for under-eave mounting. Channels are available in surface-mount and 45-degree configurations with hidden wiring for a clean, architectural appearance. Channels can be field-painted or finished by installers to match surrounding materials, supporting seamless integration across a variety of architectural styles.

As part of the Spektrum+ Series, Twilight Trim integrates with American Lighting’s broader smart lighting platform. This enables control of exterior, landscape, and interior lighting zones within a single app environment – an advantage that differentiates it from single-purpose, standalone permanent lighting systems currently on the market.

Spektrum+ Twilight Trim operates on 24V DC, is cETLus Listed for wet locations, and is rated for operating temperatures from -20°C (-4°F) to 40°C (104°F). The system is backed by American Lighting’s five-year base warranty, offering long-term reliability for permanent exterior installations.
